Paid diagnostic · fixed scope · one workflow
In two to three weeks, know whether to build, buy, redesign, or stop.
Make a confident decision about one important workflow. We work with your team to understand it, compare the options, and build a practical 90-day plan. You keep the findings and implementation criteria, whoever does the building.
Commercial shape
$12,500
Timing
Two to three weeks
Boundary
One operating workflow inside one company.
$7,500 of the audit fee is credited toward the next engagement signed within 30 days of the readout.
Request an audit review
Send the workflow, systems, owner, operating cost, and decision date. We will tell you whether the audit is the right next gate before asking you to buy it.
§ 01What the audit decides
What do we leave with?
- Current-state workflow and exception map, drawn from how the work actually happens rather than how the org chart says it happens.
- A baseline using the evidence that exists today, with unknowns labeled instead of estimated away.
- An opportunity and risk statement tied to operating value, not a generic list of AI use cases.
- A read on data, integration, permission, security, and adoption readiness.
- A system concept and representative prototype only where it materially reduces decision risk.
- Evaluation criteria, human-approval boundaries, and the acceptance tests a shipped system must pass.
- A 90-day implementation plan with economics, assumptions, owners, dependencies, and explicit stop conditions.
Not included
- Production software hidden inside a diagnostic fee.
- Unlimited process mapping across the whole company.
- Generic AI training, vendor demos, or an innovation workshop.
- A free backlog of ideas with no baseline, owner, ranking, or decision date.
Who this is for
Is this the right fit for us?
A good starting point
- A named workflow with an observable starting state: quoting, intake, follow-up, reporting, re-keying, SOPs, documents, or a similar operating loop.
- An executive sponsor with decision and budget authority.
- A costly delay, manual burden, error, risk, knowledge constraint, or missed-revenue surface attached to the workflow.
- Access to representative artifacts and the people who actually do the work.
- Willingness to define acceptance tests, human authority, and adoption ownership before implementation.
- A real decision date: build, buy, redesign, stop, or deliberately defer.
When another path fits better
- “Show us what AI can do” with no specific workflow and no sponsor.
- Unpaid discovery, a speculative prototype, or success-fee-only work.
- No access to the people, data, systems, or decision makers involved.
- A request for unsupported autonomy, guaranteed ROI, or shortcuts around human review.
- Commodity staff augmentation with no product, workflow, adoption, or outcome ownership.
- A new venture request with no cash, distribution, customer access, or clean IP.
§ 03What happens next
The audit earns one of four decisions.
- 01BuildThe workflow is valuable, ready, ownable, and bounded enough for an AI Workflow Setup Sprint.
- 02BuyA vendor already solves the right problem; the work is integration, governance, adoption, and evidence.
- 03RedesignThe workflow or data access must change before automation is worth adding.
- 04Stop or deferThe prize is too small, the risk too high, the access too weak, or another operating priority outranks it.
§ 04Trust boundary
What Sprinter can and cannot do inside your business.
- Least-privilege access wherever possible; broader access is scoped and time-boxed.
- Clear data-handling terms before work begins and no client data used to train public models.
- Acceptance tests and human-approval boundaries defined with the workflow owner.
- Every claim traces to a source or is explicitly labeled an assumption.
- The audit does not create reusable product rights unless the contract says so explicitly.
FAQ
What operators ask before they buy the audit.
01Why is the audit paid?
Because the deliverable is a decision product you keep: workflow map, baseline, evidence, architecture, acceptance criteria, economics, and implementation plan. You can use that plan with Sprinter, your own team, or another implementation partner.
02Is this confidential?
Yes. Data handling, permissions, approved systems, access duration, and publication rights are agreed before work begins. We use least-privilege access and do not use client data to train public models.
03What data do you need?
Representative artifacts for the one workflow: sample quotes, orders, documents, reports, SOPs, messages, and system views, plus access to the people who do the work. We can start read-only and narrow; this is not automatically a data-warehouse project.
04We already have IT, software vendors, or an internal team.
Good. The audit does not replace them or re-sell a preferred tool. It determines what is worth changing, what the system boundary should be, and what your team, Sprinter, or another partner would need to execute safely.
05Who builds if the answer is yes?
Sprinter can execute the Workflow Sprint or Custom AI System, with the delivery owner and the people on the engagement named in the signed scope before kickoff. You can also take the plan to your internal team or existing vendor.
06Should we do this before the $2,500 Executive AI Accelerator?
Usually not. Most executives find their first workflow in the Executive AI Accelerator here, and the audit exists for the case where one expensive workflow already needs a real build, buy, redesign, or stop decision.
07What if the answer is no?
Then you keep the map, baseline, and reasoning, and the recommendation states what must change before the work becomes worthwhile. Sometimes the best next step is a simpler process or a tool you already have.
08What does it cost?
The audit is a fixed $12,500 for one named workflow. $7,500 of the fee is credited toward the next engagement signed within 30 days of the readout, payment terms are stated before you commit, and anything outside the one named workflow is scoped separately rather than absorbed silently.
One workflow · one decision
Bring the workflow your team is tired of working around.
We will pressure-test the operating cost, owner, access, trust boundary, and decision date before recommending the audit.
